So...
Short version of a long story. Sometimes a good kick in the butt is what we need to show us where we really stand...
Got home from work today and coundn't wait because I scored an x-86 version of Solaris 9. I figured yeah... No more Linux, I've got a full blown UNIX OS now. Figured that it shouldn't be too hard to install that along side Windoze. So I promptly resized a partition with PM 8 and installed OSL2000 over it. Figured that this can't be too tough. I'll have this up in an hour or two.
yeah right! Never even made it though the install. It KICKED MY A$$. So I decided that I'm not ready for the big leauges yet. Guess I'll just have to crawl before I can walk. So now I'm happily buzzing though an install of SuSe 8.0.
Little did I know that W2K Adv. Server DOES NOT like to share with other OS's. So I dusted of a closet PC and decided to keep it pure with Linux.
Oh well. Some times it doesn't even pay to try!
