HAHA! GEORGE CARLIN!

"We are warlike ppl. We like war cuz we're good @ it. We get a lot of practice. This country is only 200 yrs old & we've been in 10 wars. We ave. a war every 20 yrs. So we're good @ it! It's a good thing cuz we're not good @ anything else anymore. Can't build a decent car...make a tv or vcr work a f**k. Got no steel industry left, can't educate our young or get health care 4 our old. But we can bomb the $hit outta ya country alright!

When's the last white ppl we've bombed? The Germans--tryin to cut into our action, they wanted to dominate the world! BULL$HIT! That's our f**kin job!

If u wanna kno what happened in the Persian Gulf, remember 2 names: DICK Cheney & COLIN Powell--looks like somebody got f**ked in the ass!"

couldn't agree more ^_^

Oh, and what is Medicare? A bingo game?

I;m sorry, George Carlin is funny most of the time, but sometimes he has his head so far up his ass it's not funny.

I love George Carlin's comedy. He's always been funny, even when he was coked up back in the early days. Maybe especially back when he was coked up :Q

LOL! If I'm not mistaken (no link....can't be sure) isn't this what he ended up apologizing for just lately after people "let him know" how much they disliked his remarks?????;)

unfortunately america's health care system is pretty bad. I work at a hospital and most of our patients either have some type of HMO, or are rather wealthy. People who are not fortunate enough to have insurance have a mediocre option of medicare, which is not much at all : /

Medical expenses rise so high it's not even funny. Oh well.

Carlin makes no sense sometimes... It's all meant to be funny - but never as a viable solution.

Your mother must be on the prefered plan because I know many people who would beg to differ with you, as they know from their own experience and not someone elses.

Hmmm as an American living in Australia being FORCED to pay for socialised medicine and recieving 5-6 hour waits in hospital I would say I dont think America's health care is bad at all. Perhaps costs should be regulated. But dont force ME to pay for coverage I DONT WANT or for everyone else.

I now have private medical coverage yet I STILL have to pay 70% of the medicare levy so OTHERS can have 6 hour waiting periods at hospitals. :(

I can't name a doctor in my town that doesn't accept Medicare, nor has my mother ever been to a doctor that didn't accept it. Now, why is it so bad?
