Hehe, Free Palm Zire 71 from Best Buy

I should have made a thread on this earlier, but I got a pretty good "deal" on a Palm Zire 71 from best buy. I was there to look at pocket PCs, but they were pretty crowded and they didn't have many people to help. They unlocked the case for me because they didn't have any display models of the IPAQ I was looking at. Well I looked for awhile and decided I didn't really want to buy a PocketPC because they are too expensive. Well, I noticed they had an open box buy of the Palm Zire 71, so I grabbed it out of the box and stuck it in my coat pocket. I figured they would be too dumb to put the anti theft strip back on and I was right. I put the charging cradle in my inner pocket and walked out.

List price was 249, but for me it was free. 😎They won't miss it. Look at how much they inflate their prices and the profits they make every year. Just getting them back for raping me over the years.

Bestbuy has plenty of money. I didn't have enough to get it or the PocketPC, so I just walked out with. How exactly is it going to hurt them? A 249$ computer? It won't touch their bottom line.

What makes you think they're greedy? How can you possibly know that the reason they push their prices so high is that they're greedy?
