Heh, when I was a kid, I thought that the Oscars were a big conspiracy.

Because movies like Commando, Rambo, Delta Force and all those Bruce Lee movies never recieve the Oscars. I thought those were the best movies ever, especially Commando, and the Oscars' people were just boring old people who just gave awards to boring movies whom no one watched.

Action packed movies rarely receive any film awards..looking at the 1973's oscars one could argue that Bruce Lee's stunning performance in the groundbraking "Enter The Dragon" (the granddaddy of kung-fu action) should have received one, either for the best movie catagory or Lee himself for best actor. First Blood (Rambo1) was another very good movie IMO (perhaps not oscar material though 🙂
