I keep seeing Hebrew National hotdog commercials.... Their slogon is "We answer to a higher power!" WTF! Since when was religion a good way to sell hotdogs? On a side note.... what makes a certain meat "Kosher"? Does it have to be slaughtered by a slit throat and only by a Rabbi? That's what I heard anyways...

It is called marketing.

Creative people sit around offices at these places called "advertizing agencies" and come up with memorable slogans and gimmicks that make people think of their products when they are shopping.

It obviously worked on you.

It is supposed to be funny... you obviously missed the point.

Homer: Yo Apu, give me the usual.
Apu: Yes, sir. One Kwik-E-Dog, one bubble gum cigar and the latest issue of Success magazine.
Homer: Mmmm. Hey, this hot dog tastes different.
Apu: Yes, I just cleaned out the machine sir, so the snack you are enjoying has not been soaking in its putrid grease.
Homer: Yeah ... but without all the grease all you can taste is the hog anus.

🙂

Buahaha 😀
