Hebrew National hotdogs- Only 7 to a pack :(

Gotta be a hot dog snob here, sorry. Hebrew's are delicious but

Sabrett >>>>>>>>> Hebs. Sabrett's are so amazing they're worth paying the bucks to have them shipped in to states that don't Natively sale them.

Hog dog snob? Whats that, like dogfood connoisseur?

I end up having to order 5 packs minimum to get Sabrett's delivered. And when all's said and done I could have gotten Prime Rib Eye for cheaper. When you pay more for a pack of hot dogs than you do a prime steak, I think that makes your a hot dog snob, but that's just my opinion *shrug*

As a New Yorker (Brooklynite) and long time hot dog lover, I feel obligated to comment 😀

Hebrew National is good, tasty hot dog. My second favorite brand in supermarkets.

First has to go to Sabrett's, though. Much closer to what you get from the typical (decent) hot dog stand. Other national brands aren't on the same level as Hebrew National or Sabrett, so I usually don't buy them. Nathan's hot dogs are good from the actual Nathan's locations (like the Coney Island original) but their store brand isn't that palatable.

I've been liking the Boar's Head dogs in the deli section at my local grocery store lately. The one's with the natural casing. Nice snap to them when you bite into them, good seasoning.

Yeah, I think Nathans is doing that too. They went to weight packaging instead of quantity. It's a sneaky way of downsizing.

I'm a natural casing guy myself. I love that "snap" when you bite into one. Boar's Head makes a decent quality dog, as well as a couple of local butchers.

Chicago dog >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>New York bullshit dog.

New York Pizza >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chicago Deep Dish or Stuffed Pizza.

These are facts.

You should commit them to memory.

:colbert:

I'll agree with the Chicago dog, and NY Pizza is good, but nothing beats a Giordanno's deep dish stuffed crust sausage/onion/mushroom.
