My buddy and I were talking about Natal yesterday and Heavy Rain came up...I think a game like this would be perfect for the natal controls. Imagine rather than using the right stick and the buttons that you actually did the movements yourself. It could be amazing.

Walking was annoying. Also the demo crashed pretty bad. Walking back from the crime scene the screen went black and a very loud static sound started coming out of my speakers. Had to turn the PS3 off using the front power button (controller wouldn't respond).

Seems to happen to some people, but very annoying. The sound was incredibly loud too. Hopefully no harm was done to the speakers.

Demo overall was ok. Might pick this up later, when its cheaper.

My main problem with this is that the walking controls are weird and annoying, and you can't run or walk faster at all (I'm not sure if you can in the full game at any point or not)

This is a rental for me

Voice acting kind of sucks. Sometimes it's perfectly fine and other times it's terribly deadpan. Otherwise it's unique and interesting but not sure if I want to pay full price for a supposedly ~8 hour play time.

I think it was the IGN review that put voice acting in perspective...for a video game, it's actually really good voice acting. Since it's one of the main focuses in the game, though, it's easy to notice imperfections compared to most other games.

I just watched a review to see what the game was about, and it looks like one giant quicktime event. How is that fun at all?

think of it as an interactive movie + puzzle game. it's not your typical action game and shouldn't be judged as one. obviously it's not for everyone.

Read a few reviews for it and you might be able to see why some people would enjoy it. That said, it's not for everyone.

Saw a video of this, and it makes me think Shenmue, only you're having to take care of some kid all the time, which would get really annoying really fast. For some reason, I remember this being very different from what the concept was (isn't this the one that had the big fuss about a scene where you play a topless woman?).

I played this demo earlier. the walking annoys me. the controls take time to get used to.

The PI part I really like. though I wished I can beat the guy some more or even choke the hooker out to get answers. haha.

the fbi guy part however I dunno. the whoel glasses thing gives me a david caruso feel. and umm wouldn't the high tech gloves get damaged from slippin and falling in the mud.

But yes it does remind me of shenmue without the repetitive questions.

I didn't get the demo. Just felt like I was pushing buttons while watching cutscenes unfold. Is that supposed to be entertaining?

Tried the tutorial and couldn't even walk behind a dumpster. Seriously....just let me freaking walk with a damn analog stick. I don't need to hit 4 different buttons just to do a simple action.
