heatsink replacement

I am replacing my heatsink but I found the processor is glued. Anyone have any suggestion on how to separate?
This is a p4 in a Sony Vaio desktop.

Thanks for your help!!!

Either heat it up and try to remove it or put it in a plastic bag, seal it and put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. After that it should be easy to remove.

I have talked to a few other people who told me the glue is actually a putty that helps transfer heat. I tried to pull push and twist but it felt very secure and didn't move. Has anyone had any experience with a Sony? They said I should be able to use a razor blade of something thin to help pry it up.

Thanks
