heatsink question

Hi,
Two years ago I got an XP-90 heatsink....that was the rage back then. What is a good one now in days?

Thanks.

Tuniq Tower 120, Thermalright Ultra 120 (Original or eXtreme when it comes out) with 120mm Fan, and the CoolerMaster Hyper TX are probably good choices.

Have you guys heard of the Noctua fans? They are unbaliavably silent...but are supper expencive @$20 each....and are out of stock everywhere ;-)

They're pretty dope, but if you read around, Yate Loon and Scythe S-Flex are also great choices for fans.

Also...the ultra 120. On jab-tech it says they are very heavy. Will the current motherboards be able to support such a heavy heat sink?

That's only 48 CFMs. The Scythe S-Flex is 49CFM at 20db (not very noticable).
You can also probably get a Panaflow and a FanMate2 and get similar results.
EDIT: No HSF will break a motherboard unless you abuse the computer. I have the Ultra 120 with 2 Fans on it and my motherboard is fine. Check out this thread:
