Zalman and Thermalright make the best.

Thermalright xp-90 or xp-120 (this doesn't fit on lots of motherboards so check it out) are the best for very good cooling, Zalman 7000 or 7700 are best for silent cooling (but still much cooler than the stock cooler).
 
Welcome to Anand Sympathy 🙂 What cheese said ^^^, and to add to that, the XP120 (if its compat w/ your mobo) with good case-air-flow and a super low 120mm rpm fan will be quieter than the 7700 Zalman series and perform as well, sometimes better depending on your setup. Scythe makes some nice air-coolers as well (in particular their latest offerings).... might want to give them a look.
