I've just got an SK6 heatsink and the delta 38cfm fan. I was wondering which way is best to mount the fan, blowing air on to the hs or sucking air away from the hs. I was also wondering if I should use the connector that came with the fan and plug it into the mobo or plug it in using an adapter to the power supply. I thought it was made to be plugged in to the power supply so I was kind of suprised when the it came with the connector for the mobo. Thanks in advance!

I would use the adapter, it's seems to be a pretty powerful fan. On the other hand if you think your motherboard can take the voltage, go for it. With 38cfm I think I would put air on the CPU.

Set the Delta fan to blow on to the SK6 heatsink. You'll get better cooling results (and an ability to monitor the fan) if you plug it into the motherboard. If you use the adaptor and plug into the power supply the fan will run slower and, as a result, be noticeably quieter. If you overclock you'll want to go for the best cooloing performance possible. Try it both ways and see which works best for you.
