I can only get my favourite budget processor OEM these days so I'm after a non-stock heatsink fan for the CPU. I'm making a couple of budget systems so I don't want to spend too much on each if I can. As a whole the systems won't be too hot - built-in graphics etc. Microdirect in the UK is round the corner so I'll probably go there. Im thinking of one of these Akasa ones, or the Sharkoon one:

Akasa AK795CU
Akasa AK824CU
Akasa AK827
Sharkoon CUS3

Can anyone recommend any of the above, or suggest any other ones? Particularly if it's worth my spending a few more pennies to get something easy to install. It doesn't have to be perfectly silent, or icy-cool, just something similar in performance to the stock AMD model, and capable of being installed by an idiot. Thanks

I recommend a Vantech Aeroflow, they got a copper core and are easy to install. Got mine for about $25

I like the CoolerMaster CP5-8JD1F-0L.
they are UBER cheap, and they work excellent.

I second the suggestion for the Vantec Aeroflow. GREAT cooler, great design, and fairly quiet. My favorite cooler ever for the socket A cpu's (taking cost and performance into account)

Thanks - I had to get what was in the shop at the time and have gone for an Akasa 827. I've had to use brute force and draw blood to get it on. Must think ahead next time! Thanks for the tips
