Heatsink Compatability

I'm still running a socket 939 system and I'm looking to jump to a new AM3 setup soon. Right now I have an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 which uses the standard 939 mounting bracket. I'd like to know if it would be compatible with the "new" brackets. Just from looking at pictures it looks possible, but if anyone knows for sure, I'd appreciate a confirmation.

Thanks

I went from a 939 to am2+ and i reused my AC freezer 64 with no trouble at all,i don't know for sure if the am2 and am3 mounting is the same

afaik every mounting mechanism since 754 has been basically forward/backward/whatever compatible so long as a few standards are met for where the mounting mechanism hooks onto the motherboard
