Heather Graham urges other woman to be strippers.

I concur.

Actress HEATHER GRAHAM has urged women to get stripping - because the sexy act is so empowering.

The Boogie Nights star plays an exotic dancer in new comedy The Hangover and admits her pole dancing preparation was easy because she's had lessons before.

Graham is among Hollywood's hot ladies who have hooked up with actress and stripper teacher Sheila Kelley for her famous S Factor pole dancing classes - and now she's a regular.
She reveals, "I had taken this female empowerment class and Sheila Kelley came in and talked about her classes. I had actually taken her classes because my friend taught one of them. She worked at the Mayor's office and quit her job to become a pole dancing instructor.
"For this film I went back and took some refresher courses. It's a dance class but they teach you pole dancing moves and it reminded me how great it is... It's for any kind of woman, women of all different ages and sizes.

"As a woman, it's inspiring because any woman can feel sexy and you're cheering each other on. You're not doing it for like, 'Oh, just give me a tip.' Usually people wear shorts and a tank top or a bra and you just cheer each other on. You're doing it to feel good about yourself and see other women feel good about themselves."

I concur with one provision: Let's limit it to the hot women. I don't want to go to the park and see a 400 pounder grinding on a light pole.

Feeling good about yourself is one thing but it ain't empowering when men are hollering at you and treating you like a side of beef on the menu... or am I missing something?

It is empowering when those same guys are handing all their hard earned money to said pole dancer.

There's a pretty big difference between urging women to take a pole dancing class with other women and urging women to be strippers. Just sayin'...

She's urging women to learn pole dancing, not to be strippers. Still, I don't see this being a bad thing. However, one quotation from the article:

"As a woman, it's inspiring because any woman can feel sexy and you're cheering each other on."

I'm sorry, but some women are beyond help.

I don't think you have to worry about it. She'd probably break the pole. :Q

Remember that pole dancing does require some degree of athleticism, which by definition 400 pounders simply do not have.

Doesn't mean you won't find one willing to try.

Helga the female weightlifting champion might disagree with you, after crushing you like a toothpick.

A weightlifter certainly isn't athletic. They have no range of motion with those muscles.

i have a feeling she means to get women stripping for their SOs, not actually going out to strip clubs and getting jobs.

Actually, I want 400 pounders grinding on the light pole, if only to go first and oil it up for the hot ones.
