loved the street fire fight scene

There are just so many pointless reboots, I'm getting numb to them.

The TrueHD audio track on the Heat Blu-Ray has an utterly ridiculous dynamic range and is just amazing when turned up and kept there. Ignore this if you are using built in TV speakers or a sound bar.

Bought the BR just for that 😀

I don't like prequels, revised reading / watching orders, or DVD bonus materials. Really good movies are at their best when they are simply a moment in time. Piling on too much backstory, revision, and explanation ruins the mystery and magic.

Especially when the original actors have aged 30 yrs and are fat. Omg what has become of the Iceman?

Val Kilmer would also need to lose about 100 pounds. I know they can do this in CGI. But that is kind of asking a lot of a computer.

I'll reserve judgement until I see/hear more about this. It has the potential to be awesome. Mann and Heat kick ass.
