As I said I have an Athlon 2700 and right now am running one intake and one exhaust fan and have the stock amd heat sink. I know that this is not to good for keeping heat down, but when running games my cpu gets up to 70 degrees celcius sometimes where i have it set to shut off. Would a couple new fans and a copper heatsink be enough to fix this problem?

A duct kit and a cheap HSF w/ 80mm fan like the SVC.com GC-68/69 (or the Speeze Whisper Rock II from newegg) would probably help a lot.

Check to make sure the fans are blowing the right direction.
Front = intake
Back = outtake
Is the heatsink seated properly?

stock fans are fine for stock speed unless installed inproperly or in a really bad case
