Certainly wasn't expecting this, though they did struggle pretty heavily against Chicago and NJ is a considerably better team..should be an interesting series though.

Nets in 6.

Miami is so overrated this season, it's not funny. they have zero identity and chemistry. imo, the bulls were 1 solid scorer next to Ben Gordon away from an upset. the Heat play crap defense and they need to stop pretending to play team ball and just fee Snaq and DWade 99% of the time.

EXACTLY...they came one Wade injury away from making the finals...so they decide to fux0r with the team and add things that just messed it up. Good job guys.

as a pistons fan, i honestly fear the Nets more than the Heat.

remember that stat about how Miami was pathetic against the top teams in the NBA, during the regular season?

the Miami Fakers.

I'm a Pistons fan as well, and like the Nets over the Heat in this series. I think Miami would be a much easier opponent for Detroit. The Nets Big 3, Jefferson, Carter, and Kidd are definitly one of the top 5 three-person combos in the NBA.

Chicago is one seasoned power forward/center away from a championship.

If Chicago could grab a post presence that had enough offensive skills to demand a double team, they would be VERY tough.

As for this game...Go NETS! I can't say I'm a fan of really any single player on that team. And I've never been a Pat Riley fan. :)

a championship? wow, that's pretty ambitious. sadly, Tyson Chandler has been a dud so far. i really thought this could be his breakout season.

I expected the Nets to win the series, but not be up by 28 in the 3rd quarter in game 1...the Heat look like sh!t this year, and were terrible against the Bulls.

Can you imagine Chicago if they wouldn't have gotten rid of Artest and Brand? OMFG, two stupidest moves in Franchise history...Now that team would be winning championships.

don't forget Brad Miller. that could be the best front court in the NBA right now.

NJ is toying w/ Heats down the stretch. PWN is an understatement for this game.

it'd be like watching an NBA video game, lol.

although, i don't find the Suns that entertaining to watch without Amare for some reason.

I don't see any PWN there really. Then again i didn't watch the game :p - I had NJ picked to win the series in 6, but if RJeff's ankle is messed up, that could be trouble.

the Nets were dominating the Heat for most of the game. the Heat made a run towards the end to make the score more respectable. i think the Nets were up by nearly 30pts at one point.

the Heat looked old and slow, while the Nets were running circles around them.

Nets vs Suns would be boring. Suns vs Pistons would be a lot more exciting. The nets are really boring to watch when they aren't on a fast break. They have no half court offense.

Heat beat the Nets at their own court even with the officials trying their hardest to keep the Nets in the game..

Heat in 6....Pistons vs Heat should be good. Last season it was only because of Wades injury that helped the Pistons beat them..

I think that the Pistons are the team to beat this season..they look polished, experienced and hungry...

I hope the Heat make it to them and give them a run for the money....
