edit:to correct the spelling of loduca

how does Do Luca compare to Hernandez and Molina?

I see he comes a little cheaper, stats are similarish....how fast is he on bases?

how is he at throwing out stealers? I guess anything is a step up from Piazza 😉

mmm... an Italian catcher who started with the Dodgers, then became a Marlin and is now a member of the Mets. This sounds really familiar.

another possible twist:

It's possible, but not likely, that Mets GM Omar Minaya might turn around and send Paul Lo Duca to Arizona as part of a package for Javier Vazquez and then sign either Ramon Hernandez or Bengie Molina. - Newark Star Ledger
