so instead of a pint of ice cream for my afternoon snack, i went with an apple , a pear and a bag of these dry roasted soybeans :hmm:

Never tried them, but a lot of the girls around here seem to like them.

I've had them.

They aren't bad tasting. They are healthy if you stick to around a serving or two. Pretty filling snack and high in protein.

Most horrible thing I have EVER tried to eat was Edamame. It is the most vile and disgusting thing imaginable.

Word of advice, they look like peapods, but the pods are HORRRIBLE!!!!!!!

Word of advice, they look like peapods, but the pods are HORRRIBLE!!!!!!!

I think edamame can be pretty damn good. simmer it up with some garlic/ginger and soy sauce. yum.

How about fava beans? Boil a pile of those, drain, then sprinkle some salt over top. Better than popcorn.
