stay off the carbs, because you'll be seriously hungry when your insulin level bottoms out. Try 6 egg whites in a small non-stick pan, cook until hard (low), add some cheese and your golden. No carbs, no sugar, plenty of protein and you won't be starving at 10:00am.

Staying off carbs period robs you of any energy you might have. What's more important: no energy or @$$-hungry starving? (You should eat every 3-4 hours anyway)

But like he was saying, I'd recommend egg whites - I like hard boiled eggs personally. That, some oatmeal/granola and some fruit and you're good to go

My normal breakfast consists of a protein shake, one bowl of Fiber 1 cereal with a tiny bit of milk, and a small piece of fruit.

Just use the microwave for oatmeal, why bother with the stove?

I love how people claim microwaved food is bad for you. They obviously don't know how microwave ovens operate. 🙂

Grab a container of yogurt, some whole oats, mix them up in whatever proportion you like, and enjoy. It's damn tasty.

The same applies for yogurt and granola. Using oats is probably healthier, though, since most granolas are packed full of sugar and such.

Heat up some frijoles, scramble a couple of eggs, toss in shredded or cubed meat of choice. Smear frijoles on hot extra large tortilla, add egg and meat mixture, add a handful of grated sharp cheddar cheese, toss on some avocado slices, add a dollop of sour cream, spoon on homemade salsa, roll up and enjoy. You don't have to bother with lunch when you have a good breakfast.

Oatmeal, Grits, Slim Fast shakes.....

Grits can be extremely cheap if you get the non-instant kind. I usually pay $.69 for a box that will last a couple of weeks... Just boil water and cook them for a couple of minutes until they thicken....then let em cool down a bit....eat. 😀
