Headset help!

Hey guys,

I'm currently in the market for a new headset, and I was thinking that a wireless option might be good for me. My tactic for the last few years was to buy mediocre headsets, because no matter what happens the microphones always seem to die out on me one way or another. I've tended to go for the approx $20 ones in the past.

Right now, however, I'm thinking that if I get a wireless headset, I might be able to keep it longer, as there won't be cords to snag on things. I'm just checking to see if anyone has any opinions on wired/wireless headsets, as all the reviews I've found lately are a mixed bag.

My price range is somewhere on the order of like $60 or so, but I can go higher or lower depending on the value vs. lifespan of product.

Thanks!

I would go with the Logitech Clear Chat wireless. Buy.com has it for $62.99.

Thanks for your input! Is that just because it's a wireless headset that matches my price range, or is it actually quality?

I'm afraid my original post may have been too specific. Anywhere from 60-115 ish would be fine, depending on the quality and durability, and wireless was just a thought, not an absolute requirement. I'm tired having headsets break on me, and I'm also tired of them causing immense ear pain after about an hour (I have slightly larger ears than the normal person).

Thanks again!

you pay for wireless electronics..quality is additional cost over that additional cost. lossless type sound is an additional cost yet again...never mind sound quality. look at the price of creative wow wireless headphones.
