Somehow I think if you have $500, then why not just grab a XTX. If you have to go Nvidia, a $300 GT is just as fast with $30 invested in cooling, and another $10 invested in a condictive pen.

Because I think crossfire is a hoopty solution and don't want to disconnect one card every time I want to watch video. It's not that I feel the ATI card is a bad product (I am upgrading from a 9600xt that has done its duty for 2 years now), but the Nvidia solution just fits my needs better and is better suited to the A8N32-Sli that I purchased as part my upgrade because I plan to go dual card in the future. As for the GT, I can afford the GTX so, I bought one..
