Looking for a good pair of headphones around $40-$60 price range for gaming. Any suggestions and where to buy them?

See headphone.com for suggestions. They mention Sennheiser 212 in your price range and 497 to rival the Grado SR-60. Amazon has decent prices on those 2 Sennheisers.

i have a pair of Grado SR-60s that i bought when they came out in 95 (i think). they ROCK! i worked at a high-end music store and compared them to other expensive headphones, including Grado SR-120s and up. the SR-60s sounded as good or better than anything else and they were cheaper too! aside from crappy foam earpads, which have since been upgraded, i believe, the SR-60 headphone is money well spent. i wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

i'm far from an audiophile...but i used to just use those sony street headphones.

I just recently picked up a pair of senn. hd 497's for 50 or so bucks (coupon involved)...needless to say a decent/good pair of headphones can make a world of difference.

my friend picked up a pair of plantronics 60 headset for under $20 and said sound was pretty good.

consider more expensive models of plantronics. they are highly rated in the gaming world
