Been thinking lately about taking the leap into some good headphones.
My criteria:
- Has to be portable (I commute to work)
- Need noice-cancellation (my commute involves buses and subways)
- No ear-canal or in-ear phones, to me they're very uncomfortable
- Comfortably snug, but NOT vise-like. I've got a big head so I'm hoping I can find good headphones that won't super-vise-grip my head.
Sennheiser seems to be a good brand that I keep seeing pop-up, after checking the hot deals forums it looked like the PXC-250 fit my bill nicely and when a good deal comes around they can be had for well under $100.
After looking a little more, I see that Sennheiser has a successor(?) to the PXC-250 in the PXC-300...At about 2x the cost.
Is the PXC300 2x times better? Should I just get the PXC250? Is there another branch I should also consider?
Thanks!
