Headphones, Runner's Dream?

I would like to know what you peoples would recommend as the best headphones for a runner, granted it scores high in the topic summary criteria.

I'm not on a budget so don't limit the offers.

canal phones?

EDIT: Shure makes some popular models, haven't tried any canal phones myself though.

(e5c for no budget?)

For runing, you need buds (canal phones). Shure is hte way to go, but they cost a bit.

Won't they slip out due to the sweat?

For running you need something that goes over the ears and that can withstand sweat. I wouldn't get something like the Schures because you could end up breaking them from the sweat breaking them down. I've gone through a couple of headphones/earphones, so I've come to know what to look for.

I use the apple headphones....cheap and if they break or whatever I don't care

In all honestly they sound like sh!t🙁

How good are the Shur e2'c in terms of dealing with sweat?

I'm on a budget, and I opted for the MobiBLU 1GB cube MP3 player with the Shure E2C. They are a great pair for around $250 shipped.
I use them while I walk around on campus. It blocks out all the outside noise. I can listen to some soothing mozart piano music in peace while people walk all around me with construction going on.

E2C may be your only choice in terms of canal phones. The higher end ones WILL require an headphone amp with over 100ohms of impedance. E2C only runs on 16ohms, so they will be easy to drive with your average portable players.

Yep.

Care to elaborate please?

So what do you guys think of these phones?

Reasons why these are up there at the top are:

1. Sweat Resistence, better than in-canal types because those are more prone to water damage.

2. 100% fall proof because of the on-ear, neck design.

over the ears headphones that are great, cheap, sound awesome, and are workout/sweat resistant -- koss sportapros or portapros
