I just bought Philips SA235 portable mp3 player and its awesome for running. It came with an armband which fits comfortablely, but the earphones are not good for running. It just kept falling off. Anyone runs and listen to MP3?

What headphone/Earphones to recommend?

Thanks!

I just bought some Sony MDR-EX71SLs(haven't received them yet) and I'm hoping that they'll be good for excercising since they are in-ear. They're supposed to be pretty good, though you shouldn't expect audiophile quality for ~$30.

I like Sony in ear headphones. They fit my ears best. Not the Sony headphones with the bass boost plug thing that sticks out of the in ear head phone. You will know what I mean if you have seen this.

The apple headphones are not comfortable after a while. It is just a half sphere and has not much in the way of moulding.

But it will depend on the size of your ear and how it is shaped. My ears like the fit of the Sony headphones. Apple ones are not comfortable after a lot of use non stop. Sony ones I can go on forever.

I did use to run with my Sony headphones with my MD. They were fine. I mainly cycle but that is less pounding up and down then running...

Yup that is basically it, but I'd choose a better model though. Something in the $50 range or so. They sound better then cheaper ones to my ears. I hate cheap headphones that sound bad and thin. No weight and punch. I also hate the Sony ones with the extra in ear thing for extra bass! Too much bass in my opinion.

$30 or less.
Probably the Koss KSC-50 then.

Thanks. Those looks good and has good reviews. Might just fit my needs.

I have them, and think they're fantastic, but I wouldn't recommmend running with them. They just don't stick to the ears well enough and will bounce around too much. I would get the MX-500s if you don't mind earbuds.

You are right, I bought one at Best Buy today and it bounces too much. Going to return it tomorrow. I don't mind the MX-500s, but I got small ear hole, will it fall out?

If you want cheapies, my sister has a pair of sony ear buds that come in a retractable case for carrying, and they're really loud for my mp3 player (samsung yepp)

I use these headphones:

They're expensive, so I don't recommend them...Sennheiser has some other cheaper stuff, you should look into them. I'm a DJ and use these headphones for turn tables and my mp3 player and my computer...I sort of wear them as an accessory to look cool too :p

That's what my sister uses, they're quite nice I think. They offer no low-end at all, and kinda high pitched highs, okay so maybe they're not quite nice, but they get loud :)

They're about the same as any other earbud. Do you have problems with most earbuds?
