Headphone suggestions

I don't know much about sound and all the jazz but good quality headphones do not go unappreciated so I wondering what would AnandTech suggest as for as good pair of headphones for movies and gaming. Why headphones I don't like cords plus I don't bother people.

Sennheiser HD-580 or HD-590 - something in that range. I have the 580's and they sound absolutely freaking awesome. If you have a good amp for these headphones you will be blown away.

What's your price range, what kind of soundcard/source, and do you feel like getting a dedicated amp?
