that amp looks interesting. i cant seem to find any technical specs on it or design notes or anything though. :\.

just in case you were curious, the DIY amp (meta42) that are very highly regarded around headphone hi-fi are very cheap right now since they came out with the new pimeta board to replace it. if you search around, its not hard to find a very decent home meta42 for great low prices (~$150) that will definately slaughter anyothers in that range. good luck.

but its $150:( i need to save up for nicer headphones first to justify that kinda spending on an amp:) 150+ dollar headphones for a 150 dollar amp. oh the pain the wallet feels;)


here's an old review of the first version, which apparenlty is the same one that radio shack sells for 21 bucks, but without the kangaroo decal and in black only. not worth 21 probably since its the old version and not as quiet. http://www.3dsoundsurge.com/reviews/boostaroo/boostaroo.html

not sure if the one frys has is the new one.
