I am looking for a good pair of headphones to use with my electronic drumset. They must have good bass, and I mean deep, punching bass. I'm looking to spend up to $200 on 'em. The reason I need good bass, as you can imagine, is for the bass drum and the toms on the drumset. Also, they have to have good highs for cymbals, hi-hat, etc. If anyone has had any experience with this your help would be GREATLY appreciated. Or, if someone knows a pair of headphones that have what I am looking for please help me out! Currently, I am looking at the Sennheiser HD590s, but since I have not heard them, I do not know if they would be good for what I am using them for. Thanks very much for all your help! - Jordan

2 quick recommendations, both <$100... Grado SR60/SR80 and Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs. i own 'em both. the Grados have a little better sound quality, but the Audio-Technicas seal outside sound out much better, so they are better for recording/monitoring.

don't know much about the Sennheiser 590s, but the 580 model is very highly regarded. Amazon.com has them for $200, which is more than 2x what the other headphones i mentioned go for.
