Is the 30$ in price difference really worth it? The .90s I have now have lost a speaker that seems to be something they are notorious for. I've owned some Senn's, but 89$ seems steep for gaming cans.

Any input is appreciated.

 
I have DSP-500s. I don't know if I could pay for them though. I got them from a Counter-Strike sponsor. They are good headphones but sometimes I get this "robot voice" and everything sounds really weird. I haven't found a solution to this problem nor is it addressed anywhere. All my clan members have the DSP-500s and all appear to have the same problems. They get this weird static/robot voice randomly. It lasts for a few minutes and then goes away - no idea what triggers it or what makes it stop.
