I don't know how to call it, so just call it a divider for both. Does this such of thing exist? Where can I get it? Note that the divider can let you choose either both of them without doing the unplug process. Thanks.

I think you're just talking about a 1/8" minijack splitter... you get get them at RadioShack.

Would an 1/8" minijack splitter have a switch so you could choose one or the other?

Using keywords "minijack splitter" and search it at Radioshock, I got a few results that's confusing me now, I don't know which one should I get, take a look at here. As what Noriaki mentioned before, the splitter should include a switch on it. Sound like the Splitter and Switcher is what I want. Waht do you think?

So you want to have to throw a switch to get one or the other? I dunno... mine is just a simple splitter. When I want to listen to my headphones I just turn my speakers off. But yeah, it looks like radio shack has what you want...

Edit: Actually, your search pulled up the wrong stuff... that's for TVs. I don't really know what Radio Shack's official name is for the product... you would be better off just going down there. I don't know about one with a switch, but is that really necessary?

OK-- this is what I'm using... as for whether there is some sort of switched product I have no idea... maybe some other forum members know.

Thanks for your informations, luv2chill. Well, the switch is quite a necessary for me coz there're something wrong about the power button for my speaker, I'd not tell you much on it as long as I wouldn't touch the button in order to let my speaker work fine, that's why I need the switch, strange huh? Anyway, with your simple splitter, do you encounter any sound quality problem with it?
