It's been a couple years since I've been across the border (in Washington State). Just wondering if I'll need anything special ID-wise.

Driver's license is all you need, but a birth certificate would help too. No need for a passport.
I never knew you had to be on The Pill to get into Canada! I guess the party scene's a little too wild!Originally posted by: bmacd
they require BC and driver's license to get into Windsor.

I think you are definitely going to need your passport.
Last time I went (summer '02) I drove up with my sister via Detroit/Windsor, and she forgot her passport. She called her immigration lawyer and was told she could enter Canada but not exit. Same thing was told to us at the border. She had her roommate overnight it to my motel in London. She is a Canadian immigrant in the U.S. on a work visa (not sure which kind), but I am a permanent resident (green card) and I had my passport anyway.
