You should remake Johnny Cash's song "I've been everywhere" and replace the city names with country names :p.

Hit Amsterdam.

There is a room above the "Blue Velvet" that you can rent out for 50 euro a night. It's also just a couple blocks from the Centrum, from the Centrum it's only a 20-30min train ride into Rotterdam.

Once you hit Rotterdam, make your way to Europort, watch some of the coal ships unload and get some cool pics of the Windmills.

Thank me later.

EDIT: Even better- Book a trip from Europort aboard the "Pride of Hull" it's a P&O ferry and it's kinda luxurious.

One way on a non weekend can be as little as $120 US, and you get a nice cabin with a stand up shower.

It's an overnight ride, but I sat on the deck of the ship the morning before we arrived and watched the sunrise over the northsea. It changed my life.

Once you get to Hull, go downtown and check out the gothic churches. There is also a bar there commonly referred to as "Nelly's", it's been there since forever and a day. So old that they never installed electricity and it's all still gas lighting and the original furniture.

Hang out there and have a pint of bitter.

I see that you're in Poland. You should have visited one of the Salt Mines, they're really cool. They really built them nicely, and they now have a hotel down there along with a full basketball court, amoung other things. Anyways, have fun in Slovakia!

Why are you blowing through Europe so much quicker than SE Asia?

I think its because its more expensive..

money is a concern. and it's also a lot easier in europe. it doesn't take a whole day to reach places, and rides are actually comfortable. i dont feel fatigued when i get off.

another big reason is it's getting cold here. i'm migrating south as fast as possible!

These are 2 diffrient countries...
:D

Edit: Wiki entry for Ljubliana in SLOVENIA
PS And I think that Slovenia has one of the better standards of living in Europe...
It is a rich country.

i was there summer 2004. extremely nice people, but also very poor. we have a bunch of family there (my grandmother's mother was the only one of the family that left for the states, way back when). pretty much the entire family lives together and they have to grow most of their food, even tho 3 are doctors, one is a nurse, and the eldest son is a pharmacist. they also make their own booze called slivovica (sp? pronounced slivovitz). they call it a plum wine, but its 55-65% alcohol so it's more like vodka than wine, but they drink it with everything so to them it IS a wine:Q
