If you apply it to your ass, do you get the same relief?

I tried it once, and the only thing I noticed was that I couldn't see PAB's posts anymore...

Poor bastard.

WOW this stuff is AMAZING. I had absolutely pounding migraines which made it feel like someone was taking a hammer directly to my head every 5 seconds, discovered this little miracle in my parents' stash, applied it DIRECTLY TO MY FOREHEAD, and ever so slowly I don't feel like killing myself anymore.
There have been a number of double blind studies that indicate it has no value whatsover.
Of course, if the placebo effect works for you, great.
Oops. Now that I told you its the placebo effect it won't work.
My bad.

as a graduate student in Pharmacology I have to say that you're absolutely wrong. There are quite a few drugs absorbed through the epidermis.

Are they still doing studies with DMSO? The potential for the use of DMSO to transport drugs through the skin is interesting to me.

Its called a sugar pill. It has been medically proven that medicine cannot be absorbed through the skin.

Ooh, bet you wish you had that one back.

Yea, he got pwned. But he could argue that he meant "that medicine" to refer to the the medicine in Head-on. kind of like "It has been medically proven potassium dichromate cannot be absorbed through the skin" But it's bad grammar.

Wiki says :

"Chemical analysis has shown that the product consists almost entirely of wax. The two listed active ingredients, white bryony (a type of vine) and potassium dichromate, are diluted to .000001 PPM and 1 PPM respectively.[2] This amount of dilution is so great that the product is arguably a placebo.[3] However, the package does list menthol as an inactive ingredient; menthol is one of the active ingredients of Vicks VapoRub."

Potassium dichromate is known to be highly toxic, carcinogenic, dangerous for the environment, can cause a form of chronic, difficult to treat dermatitis, and other great effects that can be read about here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_dichromate

Though it's in very small quantities in this headache "treatment", I don't think I want to expose my skin to it.

Ownage of the week at least?

I will admit that it does take the nauseating edge off of my moderate migraines usually!
