Head of State Movie Review!

One of the damn funniest movies I've seen in a while. Chris Rock was pretty much on fire in this movie. A lot of the jokes were race-based jokes but hey, it's funny, it worked. I'm disappointed Bernie Mac didn't have a bigger role than he did (not until about halfway through the movie did he start getting adequate screen time) but he played his part like he plays any other parts - funny. The ending was expected, of course, and I thought the movie was a lil short running about 80 minutes I think, but well worth the money.

It had it's funny lines...but I thought it was a horrible movie in itself...no directing whatsoever, horrible editing, and just not fluid enough. Nice one-liners here and there, but that's about it...we showed a sneak on Tuesday, and I'm glad I didn't pay for that movie.

To each his own. I'm easily amused so the movie was funny to me

I saw this movie tonight. I honest can tell ATOT that Head of State was the worst movie I have ever seen. Editing was well sub-par, and I almost missed several 'important' moments of the movie because I was groaning so loud at the horrible jokes. The producers of this movie should be ashamed of themselves for their work. I found the movie completely lacking of any fluidity; it didn't flow smoothly AT ALL.

Some ultra-conservative AM talk radio host was just ripping into it and saying Chris Rock was the worst actor he'd ever seen and this movie was the most blatant piece of liberal propaganda he'd ever seen.

I was laughing so hard I almost ran a stop sign!

bad movie that had a couple of 1 liners thrown in. Best comedy I've seen this year has to be National Security and Head of state is the worst.
