His large Christmas decoration has become the cause of controversy.

Covenants for Mediterranean Villas, off Broadmoor, say signs can't be more than two-feet by two-feet. This one is six-feet by three-and-a-half feet.

Homeowner Tim Meeker believes it's not about the size, it's about the message. He told KEPR he will not take it down, even with the threat of fines.

While I loathe to defend an HOA, worthless scumbags, their policies and documents are made known well before you buy the home. This guy knew the rules and chose to blatantly ignore them. His 6'x3.5' sign needs to be removed or he can pay the fines. Now, if he wants to replace it with the allowed 2'x2', great. Its his yard and he's playing within the policies he agreed to.

hmm, ya. Clearly make it too big, then try to blame the blowback on the content. Makes perfect sense.

Dude could have at least made it festive rather than something that looks like a Political Candidates sign.

I will take issue with the content: The "reason for the season" is the Earth tilting on its' axis.
