"Users will need to have an analog TV tuner card (like UltraTV 1500 MCE, AVerTV PVR 150 or AVerMedia M150) preinstalled in the system in order to get AVerTVHD MCE A180 to work properly in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 "

So you need another tv capture card to make it work.

I've been running a fusion 5 gold for about a week now. The software does indeed suck. The latest release disables stereo output from analog channels. The program has some random crash issues, and ac3 output from digital channels sometimes stutters and cuts out until you change channels. If you run multiple displays, the input source can only be viewed on the primary monitor, which kinda sucks if you run a projector. If you can deal with all that, then it's not a bad card. Channel switching is pretty fast, and analog quality is ok. The software could be made so much better with a few changes, but I don't think the developers will figure it out.
