480i can't really be considered HD 😛 it maybe digital but thats it. i didn't know it could record it though. aren't dvds 480p? not that it matters anyways since digital cable runs at low bitrates😛
 
For the record, that's a screen capture of a program recorded off an ABC affiliate using a WinTV-D and a UHF antenna. And digital cable? Bleah, never touch the stuff myself.
 
My bad, I didn't know about the ACCESSDTV encrption..that sucks...I love making clips of music videos and stuff....it is also great as a tivo function


Unfortunately, I have to put a down payment on a condo next week so so group buy savings for me..:|


I guess My wintv Go will have to do for the mean time....I am watching the news on my pc right now
