HDTV Overscan/Underscan

I just got my HDTV to work with my PC, but when I enable it, it cuts off the edge of the screen. I downloaded the latest instruction manual from nvidia, and it said to enable overscan or underscan, but I dont have the option to do so where they say I should. Plus, any resolution over 480p is illegible, thus meaning I cant read the screen. Help would be appreciated. Its a 26" Samsung Widescreen HDTV.

Is this a normal TV (CRT)? If so try powerstrip, but you will never get rid of it until you get a pixel based TV like a LCD.

It's an application, it can help control the timings and minimize overscan. It's not for a novice though. You can find more info and links at htpcnews.com, try searching the forums or atricles. This forums is more for 3D cards, you know ATI vs. Nvidia 🙂
