HDTV component input for PC?

I want to be able to plug in an X-Box using a HDTV component cable and have it display on my PC screen. I've been asking in various forums for information on what hardware and software would allow me to do this, but so far noone has been able to give me a definitive answer. So, does anyone know of any hardware that will allow me to capture the component HDTV output of an X-Box HDTV cable allowing me to play the X-Box using the higher resolution of my PC screen?

FYI: I'm from the UK, and our X-Boxes (not counting the X-Box 360) don't support HDTV as standard - some modification will be required to enable the HDTV option.
 
I've already looked into that. The problem with those devices is that you can't select the VGA output settings i.e. resolution & refresh rates, and the particular screen I want to use for the X-Box only has good image quality at 1280x1024 @75Hz. So the only viable option for me to display the X-Box signal at the exact resolution & refresh rate I need is to capture and display the image on my PC.
 
An ATI All-in-Wonder card will do it. That's what they're made to do.

I'm not sure how much you're wiling to spend, but the X800XT AIW worked well for me doing almost exactly what you're trying to do. I used it with composite and s-video-in from GC, N64, and Xbox.

That's not what the OP is looking for...Composite and S-Video only support 480i, which is much lower than the 720p/1080i supported by Component (which is what he wants to use).

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there are still no consumer-level devices that can capture Component; last I'd checked you'll end up paying well over $1000 for such a device...
 
I didn't realize that the block that comes with the x800 AIW is a HDTV-out. I thought it was an input too. duh. I never used it myself.
