HDTV Antenna with built in tuner?

We have turned off our cable television so I am looking for an HDTV over the air antenna. The problem is my Plasma TV does not have an integrated tuner, its just a monitor. Is there an over the air antenna with a built in tuner?

Shawn is right. You will need an antenna and separate HD tuner. Is your Plasma an EDTV or HDTV?

along these lines, I live in an apartment where my reception is very weak on over the air channels. My new TV gets digital and analog both, but again, weak. Are there any decent modestly priced antenae's that you can put in a window and boost the signal significantly?

try placing the antenna (outdoor version) on your patio (if you have one). Will work really well if your patio faces the direction of the towers.

This. A commonly undone thing due to the hassle but it really can improve things if you're having problems with weak signals.

Sorry to bring up this thread that I started so long ago, but where can I buy an external HD Tuner and how much are they? I can't find one on walmart or Best buy's website.... I don't think I want the digital to analog converter do I? I just want to be able to watch HD and regular channels on my plasma that does not have an integrated tuner. Whats my cheapest option

I have one of these and it does the job well, only downside is you can't delete a single sub-channel, you either delete main and subs or nothing. Mine, is sitting in the box in the closet.
