That's about it, I am hoping it will. Aslo, do they have the HDTV format pretty much standardized or is it possible that a new HDTV will be obsolete in a couple years?
Thanks.

works great on my 51 inch sony...I still haven't tried any games which support anything more than 480p though. Anyone know which games do? I know Tony Hawk 4 and one of the NBA game support 720p...but unfortunately very few widescreen TVs support true 720p...most upscale to 1080i.

I have a 47" Panasonic widescreen HDTV with my XBOX hooked up to it, and it runs fine.
