HDMI Switch Problem

I have a 4 year old laptop(Clevo M865TU), a digital TV device and an HDMI supported camera. I have 3 standart HDMI cables(2 of them cheap ones, 1 came with the TV device, all of them has yellow plates) and i have 1 more HDMI-mini HDMI cable for the camera. And i bought this cheap switch, 3 inputs 1 output.

I have a 24" BENQ gaming monitor, with 1 HDMI input.

As i listed my equipment i can tell about my problem 🙂

All the cables work well if i connect devices directly(laptop-monitor, TV device monitor, camera-monitor).Using the switch camera and TV device connects in any combination without problems but even alone i wasn't able to connect the laptop and the monitor. Switch and laptop are connected because the red light turns on, but the monitor says no signal and swithces to standby position. I turned on and off all the devices, switched cables, but couldn't find a solution. I read that it can be a problem about handshake but couldn't find a solution for it.

So, what can the problem be, and how may i solve it?
