HDMI Splitter

I'm going to need an HDMI splitter for a secondary TV on my desk (cable box only has a single HDMI out, else I'd need to use component cables for it).

Since I will have to route this cable along the ceiling, it will be ~ a 25 ft run. Is there anything special I need to look at for a splitter or will one of those simple passive ones from monop do it?

25' shouldn't be a problem. Assuming you don't have 100' in front of it. Are you wanting one source for two displays? Most splitters are multiple sources for one display.
