HDMI question

I currently have a 4K tv connected to a dolby atmos home theater system that is primarily used for 4K blu rays and PC gaming (60HZ) in HDR. I purchased the majority of my hdmi cables around 2016 which supported 2.0 at the time. I read online the newer cables support 2.1 which supports 8K and higher frame rates. Do I need to change my cables ? Doesn't sound like it but I read somewhere if you have an atmos setup you should.

you said you don't view it at higher framerates though. (*60hz) also you said you don't have a 8k display.(*4k) I would wait to upgrade cables when you get a new display/bluray player/receiver or maybe just before then.
