HDMI out on Intel onboard graphics to DVI monitor?

Is there an adapter that works for this? I know this is sometimes a more complicated scenario due to content protection but does that even come into play on a PC setup like this?

This. HDMI to DVI is an extremely common adapter.

I guess I'm not familiar with the "content protection" you mentioned, but I see no reason that a straight-forward adapter wouldn't work.

I think that answers my question then. I kind of knew about the electrical compatibility but I was unsure of the HDCP support.
