One of my friends asked me this. I was wondering if anyone on ATOT was knowledgeable about it.
If I want to send the same HDMI signal say from a DVD or Blu-Ray player to multiple HDTVs, can I do that, or is there some kind of pairing that takes place between a single source and destination? I'm thinking of running HDMI cables from my living room to my basement, and possibly to my kitchen & bedroom while I'm at it. If I can't split an HDMI signal, I know I can split an analog component signal, but if I'm not mistaken, Blu-Ray may not support HD through component cables (something having to do with copyright protection). Know anything about this, too?
Thanks!
