I've been running the 32 bit Windows 7 for a couple of months, but since I have 4 gigs of RAM, I decided to try the 64 bit version. I made the ISO of it, and went to install, but when I told it to format the partition where the old Windows 7 had been, it said it couldn't, but it cleared the data off. So, I went back into my old XP and tried to format it there, and was repeatedly told that it couldn't complete the format. I ran my old XP install, and tried to get it to format into NTFS there, but it said the same thing. I eventually decided to try formatting it to FAT32, and it completed that, but now it still won't format that from FAT32 to NTFS. Any ideas?
P.S. The partition I'm trying to format is one of three on the 160 GB Seagate. The others have my XP and general files (games, music...).
