HDD upgrade question...

Im updating my HDD from a WD 2 TB green to a WD 2 TB black and at the same time reinstalling a fresh copy of widows 7.
If anyone has any advice/tips/etc it would be most appreciated as I am sure I can handle the installation of the HDD fine I am just not sure about reformatting etc.
Thanks!

It should be a simple installation. As a new drive is unallocated, you simply boot from the Windows 7 disk and hit next, next, next....etc. 🙂

That is pretty much all you have to do, install the new one, install the OS, and then everything else.
You can even use the original drive as a data drive if you want.

The windows installer will format everything for you as well.

You might want to unplug all the drives but the one you are installing onto, until you get it installed and are booting off of that drive. Otherwise the boot-loader might end up on a different drive, especially if the other drive already had a Windows 7 boot-loader on it.
