HDD problems? Cannot access files!?!?! Plz Help! :((

Hi,

I seem to have some problems with files I copy.. they cannot be opened/viewed. For example Winamp just doesn't play .mp3 files, and Windows Media Player says 'Windows Media Player cannot access the file'.

It only seems to happen when i copy a file. For example I downloaded a .mp3 file, played it many times, but then i copied it to a newly created directory and now it has the errors I previously mentioned! Its wierd.

I tryed checking for HDD errors in Windows XP and nothing.

Any suggestions???
